The Brit Awards Critics’ Choice prize for the act most likely to break through in 2010 next year goes to 22 year old Singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding. Adele and Florence and the Machine are previous winners of the award.

Ellie Goulding said: “I didn’t believe it at first but now that it’s sunk in I am delighted and utterly honoured to have been given this award. I couldn’t be more happy and thankful to everyone right now.”

She will perform at the Brit Awards nomination launch on January 18th. Runners up are Indie-electronica band Delphic and Marina and the Diamonds. Listen to the music of the 15 acts nominated for the British Critics Choice prize.
